Toll Roasting FAQ
What is toll roasting?
Toll roasting is a service where a roastery — in this case Dose Coffee — roasts green coffee on behalf of another brand or business. You supply the green coffee or we source it, and we roast it to your specification. The finished product can be sold under your brand name.
Do I need to supply my own green coffee?
No. We can source green coffee on your behalf from our trusted network of importers, or you can supply your own. We are happy to guide you through origin selection.
What is the minimum order quantity for toll roasting?
We work with clients at different scales. Get in touch to discuss your volume needs and we will find an arrangement that works for your business.
Can I have the coffee roasted and packaged under my own label?
Yes. Private-label packaging is available. We can advise on bag formats and labelling requirements, or we can supply in bulk for you to package yourself.
What are my options for Organic coffee?
We are happy to help source and select organic beans that fit your needs. Our facility is not certified organic, so while we can roast organic coffee, the finished product cannot be labeled or certified as organic.
Are co-branding options available?
Yes, collaboration is our game and we would love to build our brands, together.
